Mini Cooper S- Major Paint Correction and Ceramic Coating

Another MINI for us here at AED. We really do enjoy working on the paint of these iconic motors. Here we have a black paint absolutely caked in heavy defects. Just bought by a returning customer, he wanted it in much better shape, ready for it to be showed off perfectly in the summer sunshine. Clear signs of relentless machine washing from previous owner, this mini really wasn’t looked after correctly.

Black paint is the most time consuming and difficult colour to maintain. No mucking about from the owner we went straight for a major correction using our 2-stage machine cut a and polish service. Heavy cut compound followed by a detailed refining stage to really make the gloss pop. We then locked this all in with our 2-year CarPro Cquartz ceramic coating ensuring this mini stay fresh as F**k

• 3 Stage paint decontamination (fallout-tar remover-clay)

• Post rinse with de-ionised water

• Dried using luxury towel and air blower

• Paint inspection and polishing/pad combo test set

• multi stage machine polish - heavy cut and refined

• Full IPA wipe down for maximum bonding of coating

• 2 layers of CarPro Lite Ceramic coating on paint

• Top layer of Car Pro Reload with SI02 applied to protect coating curing process

• Wheels decontaminated and coated with Carpro Hydro wet sealant

• Gloss black corrected and protected

• Tyres dressed and plastics enhanced

• Interior clean

• Chrome polsihed
