Mini Cooper Countryman – Enhancement / Correction detail with 1 year coating

We carried out an exterior wash. Starting with the wheels and scrubbing the tyres. A pre rinse was next with snow foam and safe hand wash then engine bay, carrying out a rinse, foam and de grease.

Next was our 3 stage paint decontamination, fallout remover - tar remover - clay bar. This removed all the embedded contaminates which the paint was caked in. A second foam and hand wash to make sure the paint is free of all chemicals used during the decontamination stages.

Onto the drying next using our de-ionised filtration system as a post rinse and hand towel, followed by getting the car inside and carrying out a blow dry to remove all traces of water ready for polishing.

During paint inspection, we found a lot of heavy swirl and marring along with deeper scratches which on this occasion would not be removed during a one stage detail purchased by the customer. The car was wrapped in gloss black on the upper areas which were a mess. This would also require lots of attention.

Our one stage polish was carried out by using a micro cut and polish product on a fine cutting pad. This worked perfect. All the gloss black areas were corrected too. A full IPA wipe down was done to remove all polish residue from the paint.

The coating we applied was Fusso coat, giving the customer a 1 year coating and super hydrophobic capabilities.

The plastics required a bit of work. Covered in polish residue from previous owner, we restored them back to black and looking new. The chrome was also polished and shined along with the exhaust tips. Finally we finished with an interior clean.
