Merc A160 - Paint Enhancement and Ceramic Coating

We got this A160 in with this stunning colour of blue, and couldn’t wait to get our hands on it. The paint was in somewhat of good shape, it had been polished previously but a filler was used rather than a cut which masked the swirls in areas, however these will soon show again. We quoted a one stage machine cut and polish and used micro cut compound to give maximum gloss. We quickly sorted some deeper scratches with a finer cut and less gloss while remaining in a one stage price plan. The customer wanted to get the best from of protection on the vehicle so we used our 2 year protection Ceramic Coating, giving the paint even more gloss with a load of benefits keeping the paint fresh and easier to keep clean, perfect for a busy company owner with not much time to wash during the week

Starting with the pre rinse using bug remover and snow foam, followed by a high pressure rinse to loosen all the dirt. This allowed us to continue on with the safe hand wash along with the wheels which were chemically decontaminated and sealed with a protective wet coating. We then carried out our 3 stage paint decontamination service including clay bar to remove all embedded contaminants that cannot be removed during the hand wash stage followed by a second wash to remove leftover chemical products. The car was rinsed with our 0ppm de-ionised water solution and dried thoroughly, ready for the paint correction.

After a thorough paint inspection, we used a micro cut machine polish. This had the enough cut to tackle the swirls and leave an ultimate gloss finish to really make the blue POP!

After a full IPA wipe down removing all polish residue we applied our protective coating, locking in all the correction and polishing while keeping the car protected for 2 years with our Ceramic Coating.

We also polished the chrome tailpipes along with an interior clean and tyres glossed.
