Mercedes GLC43 AMG - Paint Correction and Ceramic Coating

This car right here is one of my very own, and I couldn’t wait to get it up to the all elite standard after complete and utter neglect from the previous owner and dealership where it was purchased.

Delivered up from England from a reputable dealership, when this car arrived it was in a sorry state, I couldn’t quite believe what I had accepted delivery of. It wasn’t prepped at all and was in a very poor standard.

We were so busy here at AED we enlisted the help of bsf detailing to give the vehicle a thorough valet. A month later we finally got stuck in and gave this a full 3 stage paint decontamination with a 2 stage paint correction service and 2 year ceramic protective coatings. The wheels were also sent to ab coatings for a full refurb and powder coat in gloss black. We removed all the emblems because of how much grime and gunk was built up underneath. They were swapped out with gloss black to go with the de-chrome in the near future.

• 3 Stage paint decontamination (fallout-tar remover-clay)

• Post rinse with de-ionised water

• Dried using luxury towel and air blower

• Paint inspection and polishing/pad combo test set

• 2 stage machine polish - heavy cut and refined with high gloss polish

• Heavy cut and refined on certain areas of scratches

• Full IPA wipe down for maximum bonding of coating

• 2 layers of CarPro Lite Ceramic coating on paint

• Top layer of Car Pro Reload with SI02 applied to protect coating curing process

• Wheels decontaminated and coated with Carpro DLUX ceramic

• Gloss black corrected and protected

• Tyres dressed and plastics enhanced

• Interior clean
