Mercedes C220 - New Car Detail with ceramic coating

We had this lovely new C class in last week, with under 800 miles it qualified for our new car detail package. The owner wanted maximum protection and upgraded to the 2 year ceramic coating service we offer, luckily he opted out of the dealership protective coating deals, as always they are usually applied onto unprepared paint which locks in the defects and dullness and causes costly problems down the line. The car was thoroughly washed correctly with safe handwash techniques and received our 3 stage paint decontamination removing all defects from the delivery milage and gave us fresh paint ready for the one stage machine polish.

We used a micro cut and finish polish to remove minor swirls left from unskilled handover preparations before car pickup. This gave the paint a good level of gloss and was now swirl free and prepared correctly for the ceramic coating application. We did a full IPA wipe down removing all polish residue which will allow the ceramics to bond correctly.
