BMW 320i Msport - Enhancement detail with 1 yr coating

This BMW was in for an enhancement detail and upgraded to our 1 year protective coating service. This included a stage one machine polish to eliminate 100% all swirls in the paint, which the vehicle was absolutely covered in. This is from very poor wash techniques and later finding out, also from local roadside hand washers adding their heavy handed dirty cloths onto the paint too. The customer also included an interior clean from our extra services.

Starting with the pre rinse using bug remover and snow foam, followed by a high pressure rinse to loosen all the dirt. This allowed us to continue on with the safe hand wash along with the wheels which were chemically decontaminated and sealed with a protective wet coating. We then carried out our 3 stage paint decontamination service including clay bar to remove all embedded contaminates that cant be removed during the hand wash stage followed by a second wash to remove leftover chemical products. The car was rinsed with our 0ppm de-ionised water solution and dried thoroughly, ready for the paint correction.

Firstly we started with a detailed paint inspection, revealing to us all the true defects. Every panel had swirls, and every panel had minor to major scratches along with scuffs and damage. This would mean it had to be upgraded to a 2 stage machine polish to cut heavy into the paint removing the major defects and then followed by a refining process. With a particular budget and timeframe in mind, we contacted the owner and agreed on a solution to remove the most obvious of defects using the 2 stage combination. This is a heavy cut compound to cut the paint, which is refined using a finishing polish. And then to continue with the one stage process using our micro cut and polishing product every where else, eliminating all swirls in the paint and gloss black trim.

After a full IPA wipe down removing all polish residue we applied our protective coating, locking in all the correction and polishing while keeping the car protected when out on the road. For this we used Fusso sealant which has amazing hydrophobic capabilities, perfect for dark coloured vehicles.

The results achieved were amazing, the deep gloss really came out on this lovely colour of grey and shines up nicely. Its back to looking fresh and the owner is now happy its like new again, after the previous owner had obliterated the paint. We also sent over our aftercare service procedures so the owner can now keep his investment protected and keep the car looking mint.
