BMW 530d Msport - New Car Detail with full ceramic package upgrade

Straight from the dealership and brand spanking new. This is how we received this stunning machine. The owner wanted the vehicle completely protected right out the wrapper. He upgraded our new car detail service with a full all round ceramic package. This included paint, wheels and glass, giving the ultimate protection for 2 years.

Starting with a full exterior wash and continuing with a full 3 stage paint decontamination which removed all the embedded contaminates stuck on the paint from dealership delivery milage.

With the car back to fresh paint and now all dried, we carried out the paint inspection which showed the usual dealership defects from poor handover techniques. This included swirls, light scratches on all the paint and thorough out the gloss black areas. This would easily be removed with our one stage polish using a micro cut and finishing product, cutting very finely removing defects and leaving a mirror like shine a high depth of gloss.

A full IPA wipe down was carried out to remove all polish residue from the paint, which helps maximise the protective coating bond correctly.

The ceramic coating was ready to be applied. We started with the paint and used CarPro Cquartz 3.0 giving a 2 year protective coating. Next was onto the glass and then wheels, finishing off with a second coat of Cquartz 3.0 onto the paint again. Left to cure for 24 hours we finished off dressing the tires and trim and attending to the interior.
