Audi S4 Avant - Trade in Prep / Paint Correction

We had this S4 in for a trade in prep. Which is basically making the vehicle look “sell today” condition. However, this is performed by staying close to a budget as much as possible, to maximise profit for the seller. It is important to concentrate on areas that would make a difference come time to trade in.

We started by washing the car thoroughly this also included an engine bay degrease and clean. The paint was also chemically decontaminated and clay bar used. The wheels were chemically treated to remove all tar deposits and contaminates. Exhausts were a tough job, they were in bad condition, however they were worked hard by a mechanical aid with polish and came up good.

Before starting the paint correction, the paint was inspected. We went with a micro cut and finish combination to keep costs down. After a full IPA wipe down the work was protected with a 6 month coating.
